What Bloom does not know is that Flora, Stella, Tecna and Layla had entered Kannon at the time as her. But, in this dark and confusing place, each one believes that they are alone and lost.
Flora calls for her friends many times, in vain. She has a vision of dried out plants and dead branches that she cannot tame who surround her until she is caught.
Tecna types away on her magical computer. But the messages she receives are numerous and contradictory. Worn out by a terrible headache, she faints.
Layla feels more and more tangled in a sort of invisible glue. After struggling, she finishes by also fainting, exhausted.
Stella looks in fright as her hands and then her arms start to fade...
"No! This isn't possible! I'm too beautiful to disappear!"
A multitude of images appear around Bloom and come to hurt her. Her mother Miriam and her father Oritel are mortally wounded by the Ancestral Witches. They scream in fear and in suffering. In a final spurt of effort, Oritel attempts to recover his sword that had fallen on the ground, but it eludes from him...and he dies.
"Accursed* witches!" Bloom roars. "You think maybe that I haven't cried enough in my life?"
Too much suffering made the fairy aggressive. But deep in her heart, she realises that it is a new trap of the Witches.
Refusing to believe in the visions around her, she finds strength and discovers little by little her knocked-out friends. She calls them gently:
"Flora... Stella... Layla... You're not alone... We're all together..."
Her friends open their eyes and Bloom helps them get up.
"The Ancestral Witches' world is protected by our own fears. By facing them, we will beat them!" she explains to them.
The more the fairies concentrated, the more the landscape brightened around them. In a blinding light, they discover the terrifying pyramid of skeletons. At the summit, the king Oritel, frozen, reaches for his sword which eludes him. Near him, is the queen Miriam. Their faces express an immense sadness.
"Leave your hiding place, witches!" Bloom screams in anger. "We are ready to fight you!"
The light increases again, revealing hundreds of frozen bodies.
"The people of Domino..." Bloom murmurs.
One of the frozen bodies suddenly moves and throws himself at Bloom, a weapon in hand. But in place of retaliating the attack, the fairy throws on him a small spark of the Dragon's fire. Screaming, one of the Witches quits the man's body.
Finding her confidence, Flora succeeds to grow a small plant between the obsidian. But this effort made her exhausted. Stella tried to make a magical sun in the room…this minuscule spark that flickered instead. And Tecna could not manage to turn on her magical computer. Only Bloom could succeed to fight against the three Ancestral Witches who surround her sneering.
At the summit of the pyramid of skeletons, the sword starts to move, like it was calling Bloom.
“Accursed fairy!” one of the witches roars. “Your presence woke up Oritel’s sword!”
Bloom extends her hand to the sword…but she remembers the prophecy: At the crossroads of many roads, the demons of stone watch an icy abyss... A king without a crown will save a king without a kingdom... A new Company of Light will shine in the darkness. And what was once lost will be found.
And she stops from seizing the sword! Furious, one of the witches throw another threat:
“When Mandragora finishes with the Specialists, Bloom, she will take that Earth couple that you love so much…”
Bloom trembled. In a mirror beside the witch, she discovers Mike and Vanessa who watch a television, with Kiko and Ronron on their knees. The threat of attack is terrible, but the sight of her adoptive parents warms her heart. Thanks to them, she always feels loved.
“You’ve made a mistake, Witches!”
Bloom throws a spell at the mirror, which disappears in smoke.
“And even more, you want me to believe that Mandragora will beat the Specialists!”
